Privacy, in plain language.
What this website and our apps do with information, and how to contact us about it.
Who this notice covers
Fancy Little Software operates this website and develops Keepstack and StreamLatch. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact hello@fancylittlecompany.com. This notice covers website accounts, visits and our handling of support enquiries; a provider or payment service may have a separate privacy notice.
Visiting the website
Netlify hosts the public website. It processes requests and technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and security logs to deliver and protect the site. We do not load optional analytics, advertising trackers, session replay or third-party media embeds on this site. Fonts and decorative artwork are served with the website rather than through a third-party font service.
The motion switch may store your choice in your browser’s local storage. It is a device preference, not an advertising identifier. Clearing site data removes it. The optional discovery trail stores three completion flags in this tab’s session storage. It is not sent to us, contains no identity or app data, and can be cleared with “Reset exploration progress”. Guide checkboxes stay in page memory only.
Your website account
Supabase provides account authentication and stores your email address, password credentials, optional display name and sign-in information. Your browser stores session tokens to keep you signed in across visits. The website does not set a fixed browser-storage expiry; signing out clears the active local session. On a shared device, sign out and clear this site’s data. Resend delivers verification and password-reset emails through our account email service.
If you choose an available social sign-in option, that provider shares the identity information needed to sign you in, such as an account identifier, email address and profile name. The website does not request access to your posts, media library or recordings. Contact us to request your account data or account closure.
Release news you request
If you join the release list, we store your email, selected apps, consent notice version and signup time in our Cloudflare database. Release delivery uses our configured email service. Abuse protection uses a hashed network identifier and does not store the raw IP address in the release-list record. Your unsubscribe link is a secret token; the backend stores its hash and an encrypted copy for email delivery. A repeated signup does not overwrite an existing subscription.
Use the unsubscribe link in a release email to remove the subscription and its pending notification records. A message already dispatched may still arrive. There is no fixed automatic expiry for an active subscription.
Contacting us
When you send a support form, we receive the email address, optional name, selected product or topic, and message you provide. Form submissions are processed by Netlify. Email sent to hello@fancylittlecompany.com is handled by our GoDaddy email service. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue, manage requests and keep an appropriate support record.
Please do not send provider passwords, session cookies, access tokens, payment-card details or private media. Diagnostic reports may include file names, paths or source details: review and redact them before sharing. The contact form does not accept attachments.
Your media and connected services
The apps are local-first: catalogue data and media are held on storage you choose. Merely visiting this website does not upload your app library or recordings. Connecting a provider, using a cloud-sync client, opening an external link or sending a support report involves the service and data you choose to use.
A cloud-synced folder follows the sync provider’s own behaviour and privacy policy. It is not a guarantee that a file has finished uploading or that the local copy is safe to remove.
App activation
The licensing integration processes product and order identifiers, licence status, a hashed device identifier, optional device name, platform, app version and activation timestamps to check paid access and device limits. Deactivating a device removes its current activation. Purchase records are retained to support payment history and account recovery.
Purchases
Direct checkout uses PayPal to process payment and associated transaction information under its own terms and privacy notice. We may receive order, product, licence and contact information necessary to supply the software, handle support and process an eligible refund. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
For account-linked purchases, our Cloudflare database stores your verified account identifier, checkout attempt, offer snapshot, provider order/customer identifiers, subscription status, paid-through date and invoice/refund totals. These records support access checks, payment recovery and accounting. They are not deleted automatically on cancellation; cancelled billing does not delete local media. The public website proxy passes the necessary account token to our backend to verify requests and does not use private operator sign-in as customer authentication.
A purchase is only available when a real checkout link and offer are displayed. This website does not ask you to enter payment details into a support form.
PayPal privacy statementKeeping and sharing information
We use service providers to host the website, receive forms and handle email. They may process information in countries other than your own. We do not sell your personal information. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to meet a legal obligation, address fraud or protect rights.
This website does not automatically delete account or support records after a set period. Retention is reviewed in response to account closure or privacy requests, taking account of the enquiry, follow-up, disputes and legal obligations. Our providers also maintain their own service and security records. Transaction records may need to be kept for accounting or legal reasons. You can ask us about information we hold and request correction or deletion; we will explain any reason we cannot fulfil a request.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to submit a form, disable website motion, clear local preferences and contact us about your information. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to a competent supervisory authority. We may need to verify a request before disclosing personal information.
We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website. If a child has provided personal information, contact us. Material changes to this notice will be reflected on this page.
