Know what is happening
Distinguish an active recording, a creator who is offline, and a live stream that is not accessible for recording. Seeing “live” does not guarantee desktop access.
A recording is a beginning
Browse by creator, search recording details and add notes or bookmarks to make longer recordings easier to return to.
Keep the useful part
If a recording is interrupted, inspect the saved portion and activity details. Recovery tools help you decide what to retry without discarding useful material.

Keep recordings as files on the storage you choose. Back up your media and catalogue together, and leave room for temporary processing.

Creators, not another feed.
TikTok LIVE is the core recording workflow. Use the platform connections shown in your installed build; a provider may require an authenticated browser session or restrict access. No platform affiliation or universal recording guarantee is implied.
A creator can be live while its video stream is unavailable to your desktop session. Check the same broadcast in the browser you connected; restrictions are not something the app can simply override.
